The "green touches" weren't over the top but included covering old baby formula cans with chevron drawer liner paper to use as the flower vases, reusing a stamp pad I had to make the hanging decor and serving sustainable food including grass fed beef burgers on real, not disposable plates (and glasses). I even found a bakery, Bake, in Wicker Park to make our red velvet cupcakes and frosted birthday boy cake food dye-free...and seriously delicious!
