Sam's 1st birthday is coming up and I want to get him a globe as a gift. I hope it will someday inspire in him a desire to travel, a curiosity for other lands and cultures and a respect and appreciation for the enormity yet fragility of our planet....

ReplyDeletehi heath! we have an awesome world map covering our wall in the playroom. it's from ikea and the kids love it. i find it has not only encouraged their curiosity about travel, but also provides an awesome jump off point for discussions on shapes, numbers, letters, animals, and general "make believe". sam is a lucky guy to have such an awesome mommy!
